Welcome!


Welcome! It’s a brave new world inside and outside of today’s classrooms, isn’t it? Massive changes are developing in our educational institutions worldwide. Educators are facing unprecedented demands to reform –much easier said than done.

Welcome and Aloha! This program provides Korean teacher-participants with facilitated professional development opportunities in foreign language communication. English language component features co-curricular activities, field experiences and individual language study in the following areas: Content-based Learning; Correcting Errors; Developing and Using Games in EFL Classrooms; Giving Feedback; Learning Styles and Language Acquisition; Making Textbooks Communicative; Media and Technology in EFL; Teacher Talk and Student Talk; Teaching English in English; Teaching Listening, Pronunciation, Reading, Speaking, Vocabulary, Writing; Using Video and Role-play; Working with Mixed Levels.

We will also focus on the emergence of teacher leadership –it’s promises, demands, and possibilities.
