Aso College Group: May I Take Your Survival Restaurant English Order, Please?

Greetings and aloha! Welcome, Aso College Survival Restaurant English Group!

I'm eagerly looking forward to working with you! We will be working together on your English-language skills for restaurant settings.

Our first session is on the campus of Honolulu Community College on Monday, September 12. We will meet for three hours from 9:00 a.m. to noon. If you ride the city bus depart near the HCC administration building. Then, a short walk in the mauka direction (towards the mountains) takes you to HCC's mall. Turn left (or Ewa direction, as we like to say). Go to the first seven-story building -the one with the bookstore on the first floor. We will be on the fifth floor in Room 509.

If you are lost do not be shy about asking someone on campus for directions. You'll be fine! We are accustomed to helping visitors find their way.

Our Monday session will be followed by lunch in the campus cafeteria.

We will meet again on Friday, September 16 at Kapiolani Community College near Diamond Head. Our time will be from 3:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. What would you like to discuss? You let me know.

If you look at the right side of this blog you'll see a section called 'Hawaii Links You Can Use!' Perhaps the one that will be most important to you is the link to Honolulu's city bus service.

Contact me by e-mail with your questions. Check this blog occasionally for updates and messages. For those specifically for you look for 'Aso College' in the title.

Remember this: I am in the business of helping you succeed!
