Korea Tourism College: Waikiki Walking Tour on Monday, October 10

Greetings and Aloha Korea Tourism College Students!

Monday, October 10 is Discoverer's Day in Hawaii. Guess what? It's also the same day as your first field trip!

Your group will go on a walking tour of Waikiki, Hawaii main tourism hub. Please meet after lunch in front of your hotel building off Saratoga Road in Waikiki at 1:00 p.m. Dress casually and comfortably, and bring your cameras, too! Since it has been hot outside I suggest you bring bottled water with you.

GoHawaii.comLocated on the south shore of Honolulu, the world-famous neighborhood of Waikiki was once a playground for Hawaiian royalty. Known in Hawaiian as "spouting waters," Waikiki was introduced to the world when its first hotel, the Moana Surfrider, was built on its shores in 1901. Today, Waikiki is Oahu’s main hotel and resort area and a vibrant gathering place for visitors from around the world. Along the main strip of Kalakaua Avenue you'll find world-class shopping, dining, entertainment, activities and resorts.
