Good Evening! On Wednesday morning, August 3, your group will be visiting the campus of Hawaii Tokai International College. Located off Kapiolani Blvd., and within sight of Waikiki, this college is an international campus of the Tokai Educational System of Japan. It was established in 1992 and is an accredited American college.
Please take the #4 city bus from your hotel. It will go up Kuhio Avenue, then turn onto Ala Wai Blvd., followed by the McCully Street Bridge. The bus will turn right on to Kapiolani Blvd. Please depart at the first bus stop after the right turn. I will be waiting there for you around 9:00am. We will walk up the street to the campus.
Your group will be meeting on the 19th floor with Tokai's International Programs staff and Chancellor Naoto Yoshikawa. I have arranged for one of my Liberal Arts faculty colleagues, Professor Teuta Rijaz, to meet with you. Teuta teaches English language writing courses in English, and she is looking forward to sharing with you some tips and recommendations you can use in your classrooms in South Korea.
We should be finished by 11:00am, so you will have plenty of time to get to your next destination.
