Morning Agenda for Week August 8-12, 2011

Rise and Shine all! Here is out agenda for Monday, August 8 through Friday, August 12, 2011:

MONDAY

- Each participant is to stand before the group and deliver a 2-3-minute presentation on their activities this past weekend.

- I've added a new section to the blog. It focuses on presentation skills. We will discuss the importance of facilitating the learning of presentation skills for teachers as well as students in the ESL classroom.

- Making Textbooks Communicative will be our next topic.

- Media and Technology will be our final topic this day.

TUESDAY

- Social Media, Video, and Technology in the Middle School Classroom.

- Video and Role-playing in the Classroom.

- Providing Feedback with Technology.

WEDNESDAY

- Developing and Using Games in EFL Classroom.

- Content-based Learning.

THURSDAY

- Working with Mixed Levels. 

- Teaching Listening, Pronunciation, Reading, Speaking, Vocabulary.

FRIDAY

- Tentatively scheduled: a field trip experience to Hawaii's Bishop Museum.
