Mission Houses Museum, Honolulu
One of the great features of your stay and study time here in Hawaii is visiting cultural, educational sites. One of my favorite places to bring students to is the Mission Houses Museum near downtown Honolulu. I routinely bring my ESL students here for an immersion in 19th century Hawaiian and American culture. If you approved I will bring you here, too!
Admission is $6 per person. You will go on a guided tour with one of the educational specialists, people well-versed in working with visitors whose first language is not English. The museum features a cafe that I think you'll enjoy. It's a wonderful setting! Use this opportunity to practice your English skills and learn who you can build partnerships with museum staff and institutions like this one in Korea.
