Reading
aloud is one of the most popular examples of public speaking. Everyone at some
point in their lives will read aloud to others. Choose a short story, a poem at
least ten lines long, or a short speech that is appropriate to the time limit
(2-3 minutes). Pay particular attention to your delivery style. Show enthusiasm
and passion for your selected reading. Work on varying your tone of voice and
rate. Don’t forget pronunciation, too!
