Just after the APEC summit concluded in Honolulu the Korea Tourism College students were treated to one of Hawaii's most outstanding authorities on ho'okipa. Palakiko Yagodich headed the training of hospitality volunteers for APEC. We were privileged to have him speak to the students about the tradition of ho'okipa, or Hawaiian hospitality.
